CEIR Releases Final Report in Attendee ROI Playbook Series

The Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) announced today the release of the seventh and final report in the Attendee ROI Playbook series, entitled, Where Value and Metrics Vary by Event Size.

“Organizers may think that the larger an event is, the more likely an attendee is to be satisfied,” said CEIR Vice President of Research Nancy Drapeau, PRC. “This report uncovers competitive advantages for B2B exhibitions of every size. It takes a close look at the decision to attend an event, metrics used to determine the value of attending and how well events perform against these expectations by event size.”

“The Attendee ROI Playbook series is one of most robust studies CEIR has conducted,” said CEIR CEO Cathy Breden, CMP, CAE. “This seven-report series contains a wealth of great information for exhibition organizers, as well as service providers, that can help with their strategic planning discussions.”

Breden further noted, “Many thanks to the PCMA Education Foundation, whose financial support helped make this research possible.”

This 13-page report provides an analysis of how attendee preferences and behaviors vary by an event’s size including:

  • Objectives for attending;
  • Decision-making process to attend;
  • Pre-planning and tracking activities while visiting an event; and
  • Metrics used to evaluate the outcome of attending and how well B2B exhibitions perform to these metrics.

Through the generous sponsorship of this study by the PCMA Education Foundation and IAEE, all reports released in this study series are available at no charge on the CEIR website here.
