Prior to his time in the media industry, he was a Softbank Comdex executive and trade show entrepreneur.

Gregory Daco is Head of US Macroeconomics at Oxford Economics. He is responsible for producing the US economic outlook using Oxford Economics’ proprietary Global Economic Model. Greg tracks and forecasts high-frequency indicators, and oversees the production of thematic research pieces on the US economy, the Federal Reserve, financial markets and fiscal policy. He is also responsible for presenting the global outlook to clients and partners, and liaising with the media.

Sergei Gepshtein

Sergei is a member of the Center for Neurobiology of Vision at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla, where he studies boundaries of visual perception in the natural world and in visual media using methods of sensory psychophysics and computational neuroscience. Sergei also directs the Collaboratory for Adaptive Sensory Technologies, which he founded at the Salk Institute with the goal to translate results of basic research to a wide range of applications: from immersive visual technologies and adaptive sighting devices to architecture, urban design, and forensic science. Before joining the Salk Institute, Sergei investigated stereoscopic vision and interaction of vision and haptic sense at the University of California, Berkeley, and then studied computational principles of perceptual organization and pattern visibility at RIKEN Brain Science Institute in Japan. Sergei’s research received grants and awards from the Swartz Foundation for Computational Neuroscience Research (USA), the National Institutes of Natural Sciences (Japan), the National Science Foundation (USA), and the National Institutes of Health (USA).

Brian joined U.S. News & World Report in 1998 as Assistant Managing Editor where he played a key role in the weekly publishing of the magazine as well as overseeing the company’s website and their signature annual college rankings, America’s Best Colleges. Today, Kelly has expanded these rankings in many other areas including Best High Schools, Best Hospitals, and Best Health Plans. Kelly also made the decision in 2009 to cease regular print publication in favor of a digital publishing model. This strategy helped engineer the turn around of the company.
