Breaking News: 2013 CEIR Index Results Released

DALLAS, 31 March 2014 – Today, the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) President & CEO Brian Casey, CEM reported the findings of the CEIR Index Report during a session at the Society of Independent Show Organizers CEO Summit. The CEIR Index analyzes the 2013 exhibition industry and provides a future outlook for the next three years. For 2013, the industry showed overall growth of 1.09 percent and was in line with its economists' forecast for the year. The outlook for growth in 2014 is projected to accelerate and continue through 2016.  (more)

CEIR Index Fourth Quarter 2013 Results Report Significant Improvement of 3.0% Increase for 14 Quarters of Consecutive Growth and Outperforms GDP by 0.3%

DALLAS, 24 February 2014 – In line with our economists’ projection, the Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) announces the performance of the exhibition industry significantly improved during the fourth quarter of 2013 with a year-on-year increase of 3.0 percent compared to just 0.4 percent increase in the third quarter of the same year.  (more)

Third Quarter Results for CEIR Index Show 0.2% Overall Increase

DALLAS, 21 November 2013 – Third quarter results for the Center for Exhibition Industry Research Index fell below projections increasing only 0.2 percent, approximately one percentage point lower than the previous three quarters and down from 0.9 percent during the same period in 2012. Despite 13 consecutive quarters of growth, compared to the same quarter in 2012, three key metrics declined with only Real Revenues showing a slight increase.  (more)
