The Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) announces it will present a special session on Presidential Politics, Pop Culture & the Press during Predict: CEIR’s Annual Exhibition Industry Outlook Conference this 14-15 September in Washington, D.C.
The political landscape is in the midst of serious upheaval. Behavioral trends and technological innovations are evolving at lightning speed. Consumers are more sophisticated; employees are more discriminating and the media more influential than ever before. Vincent Polito will explore these issues with media executives charged with covering the events shaping the world around us. The following leaders will share their insights on how today’s headlines should be influencing tomorrow’s business decisions:
- Robert Bierman, Principal, Tiny World Media
- Kevin Daum, Media Strategist, Author
- Brian Kelly, Assistant Managing Editor, U.S. News & World Report
- Daniel Lippman, Associate Editor for States & Reporter, POLITICO
“The exhibitions industry, and the professionals who comprise it, have valuable lessons to learn from the current events that are shaping our world,” said Vincent Polito, owner and principal of mdg. “From a growing discontent for the status quo to the ways in which technology and social media are shifting the balance of power in society to the changing skill set employers are requiring from the next generation of workers, this session will focus on the relevant insights that should be influencing our organizations and our events,” noted Polito.
