The Center for Exhibition Industry Research (CEIR) is proud to announce several key developments to support the evolving needs of the exhibitions industry. These include the expansion of its research team, the launch of new consulting services, a new management agreement with the International Association of Exhibitions and Events® (IAEE), and updated privacy policies.
Natali Tsalikis Joins CEIR as Junior Market Researcher
To bolster its research capabilities, CEIR has added Natali Tsalikis as a Junior Market Researcher. A graduate of the University of Florida with a master’s degree in marketing and marketing analytics, Tsalikis enhances the bench strength of CEIR. In addition to her undergraduate degree in marketing and minor in market research, her training in marketing analytics expands CEIR’s research toolkit, including ways to visualize research findings via dashboards and other methods. In her new role, she will assist in the design and implementation of survey-based studies.
“Natali will strengthen CEIR’s ability to deliver the data-driven insights our industry relies on,” said IAEE President and CEO Marsha Flanagan, M.Ed., CEM. “Her background in marketing analytics and research methodology will enhance our capabilities as we continue to provide the exhibitions industry with crucial market intelligence and performance metrics.”

CEIR Expands Offerings with Consulting Services
In addition to its core research, CEIR is now offering consulting services, leveraging its extensive data collection to provide clients with customized insights and guidance. These services leverage CEIR’s renowned resources, including the CEIR Index and the Event Performance Analyzer tool, to provide industry benchmarking and forecasts. Organizers also have access to a library of over 100 reports covering key trends and benchmarks for attendee acquisition, exhibit and sponsorship sales, as well as the latest insights on attendee and exhibitor engagement on the exhibition floor.

IAEE and CEIR Update Privacy Policies
To further strengthen CEIR’s position as a trusted research resource, IAEE has signed a new management agreement with CEIR. Recognizing CEIR’s role as a critical repository of research used by multiple stakeholders, IAEE and CEIR are committed to ensuring the protection of the data submitted by exhibition organizers.
As part of this agreement, CEIR has updated its privacy policies regarding data handling and survey responses. These updates reflect a commitment to enhanced security and transparency in the management of data, reinforcing CEIR’s dedication to safeguarding participant information across all research and consulting activities.
Upcoming Presentation at Expo! Expo!
As part of its commitment to industry education, CEIR will present the session Future Proofing Relevance: Strategies for Attendee and Exhibitor Engagement at B2B Exhibitions at Expo! Expo! IAEE’s Annual Meeting & Exhibition 2024 to be held 16-19 December in Los Angeles, Calif. This session will draw from CEIR’s Maximizing Attendee and Exhibitor Engagement on the Exhibition Floor study and include case studies from top B2B exhibition organizers on future-proofing strategies for events.
