CEIR’s Exhibition Industry Census provides the statistics needed to accurately identify current involvement, plan strategies, set legitimate goals and precisely measure progress.
The Census contains data on all exhibitions occupying at least 3,000 net square feet of space and with at least 10 exhibiting companies - including both B2B and consumer exhibitions. More than 13,000 events have been counted - three times the levels frequently reported. Click here for a sample report page. Here’s some sample data of the results:

This is just a hint of the marketing potential behind the Census. The above data can be further manipulated in various ways. Users are able to tap deep into the exhibition industry's unique marketing potential, and measure very specific markets. Reference the Census reports through the Online Resource Center Database. Events can be filtered individually, or combined according to:
- Geography: Sort events by city, state, province and regional classifications
- Industry: Find specific events by 12 industry classifications
- Price: Get average prices charged per square foot by size, geography and industry
- Size: Group events according to net square footage
- Month: Filter events as they occur month-by-month
The Census is available in three formats, each offering unique information - the original Census Book, the 16 City Supplemental Reports, and the new Online Census Database (click the links above to learn more).
